Job summary

Taiace Energy Services Sdn Bhd is seeking an IT/Computer Science Intern to support development, improvement, and maintenance of internal digital systems and projects. You will gain hands-on exposure to web development, databases, automation, AI integration, and IT operations.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a diploma or degree in CS/IT/SE/IS with basic programming knowledge and familiarity with databases and Git/GitHub. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or Information Systems.
• Basic programming or web development knowledge is required.
• Familiarity with databases and Git/GitHub is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and improving internal web-based systems and company applications.
• Support maintenance, testing, debugging, and enhancement of existing systems.
• Assist with frontend and backend development tasks.
• Support database management, data entry structure, data checking, and system integration.
• Assist in developing internal dashboards, forms, reports, and workflow automation.
• Support API integration between systems and third‑party platforms.
• Assist with AI‑related projects, including AI tools, automation, and internal AI agents.
• Support development and maintenance of company websites and landing pages.
• Conduct system testing and report bugs, errors, and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare basic system documentation, user guides, and process documentation.
• Assist users with basic IT and system‑related issues.
• Support management in implementing new digital tools and technologies.
• Perform research on new software, AI tools, and technology solutions that may improve company operations.
• Carry out other IT‑related tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Taiace is looking for an IT / Computer Science Intern to support the development, improvement, and maintenance of our internal digital systems and technology-related projects.

This internship is suitable for students who are interested in gaining hands‑on exposure to web development, internal management systems, databases, automation, AI integration, and general IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and improving internal web-based systems and company applications.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of programming or web development.
• Basic understanding of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Firebase, Supabase, or equivalent is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Git / GitHub is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Codex, Claude and other AI tools is an advantage.
• Exposure to API integration, cloud platforms, AI tools, or automation is an added advantage.
• Able to troubleshoot problems and learn new technologies independently.
• Good communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Willing to learn and work on different types of IT projects.
• Fresh knowledge is welcomed — prior working experience is not required.
