Job summary

Yee Lee Corporation Bhd in Ipoh invites applications for an HR Recruitment Intern to gain hands-on experience in the end-to-end recruitment process across Yee Lee Group. You will assist with candidate sourcing, CV screening, interview scheduling, and HR documentation, while supporting onboarding and employer branding initiatives.

The role emphasizes learning HR digitalisation, social media recruitment, and Canva-based content creation, with a focus on accuracy and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field.
• Minimum CGPA of 3.0 and MUET Band 3.
• Fluent in Bahasa Melayu and English.
• Own transport and willing to travel for work when needed.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to and understanding of the end to end recruitment process in Yee Lee Group.
• Take part in the digitalisation of HR activities and processes, and understand the importance of new technology in HR.
• Understand how Employer Branding and Culture help attract talent into Yee Lee Group, and learn the power of social media.
• Support candidate sourcing on job portals and social media
• Assist with CV screening and shortlisting
• Schedule interviews and coordinate with hiring managers
• Update recruitment trackers and reports in Excel
• Handle candidate queries through live chat and email
• Support onboarding coordination and HR documentation
• Create recruitment posters and social media content using Canva
• Assist in employer branding activities such as career fairs and campus talks
• Support digitalisation projects, such as testing or documenting new HR tools
• Assist with other ad hoc HR tasks assigned by the Head of HR

This position is located at Jalan Protland, Kawasan Perindustrian Tasek, 31400 Ipoh, Perak. Please check the travel distance before confirming your application for the position.

Work hour: Monday to Friday from 8.00am - 5.30pm

Monthly Allowance: RM800.00 (Diploma) | RM1,000.00 (Degree)

Candidate Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field.
• Minimum CGPA of 3.0 and MUET Band 3.
• Fluent in Bahasa Melayu and English.
• Own transport and willing to travel for work when needed.
• Good customer service skills, and able to handle multiple ad hoc tasks under tight deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of job platforms, social media and related platforms.
• Able to assist with live chat and understand candidate queries.
• Proficient in Canva and able to deliver within given deadlines.
• Additional advantage: knowledge of AI tools and Excel (Pivot Table, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP).
• Willing to assist with other ad hoc tasks assigned by the Head of HR.
• Critical thinking skills and empathy towards others.
• Minimum of 3 months internship period.
