Job summary

Averis Sdn Bhd is seeking a Corporate Communications Intern in Kuala Lumpur to blend strategic messaging with creative digital execution. You will shape internal culture and our external social media presence, delivering high-quality assets under tight timelines.

You will design graphics, short-form videos, and banners for official channels; serve as photographer at events; and monitor competitors' social media to share insights with the team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Mass Communication, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Highly proficient in Canva and CapCut for rapid graphic production and video editing.
• Hands-on experience with Illustrator or Photoshop is an advantage.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Design engaging visuals, short-form videos, and banners for official social media and internal platforms.
• Act as photographer during events (CSR, town halls, employee engagement) to capture key moments.
• Research competitors' social media for insights and trends to share with the team.
• Assist in end-to-end planning, logistics, and execution of company events.

We are looking for a high-energy, proactive Corporate Communications Intern who loves blending strategic messaging with creative digital execution. You will play a crucial role in shaping our internal culture and external social media presence. Because digital platforms and internal engagement move fast, the ideal candidate must be a good communicator, possess a sharp eye for visual storytelling, and maintain a strong sense of urgency to deliver high-quality assets under tight timelines.

Key responsibilities

Design engaging visual graphics, short-form videos, and digital banners for official social media channels and internal communication platforms

Act as the primary or support photographer during company events (CSR initiatives, town halls, and employee engagement activities) to capture key moments

Conduct regular research on key competitors' social media pages, tracking their campaigns, engagement strategies, and content trends to share insights with the team

Assist in the end-to-end planning, logistics, and execution of company events, ensuring smooth operations on the ground

About you

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Mass Communication, Graphic Design, or a related field

Highly proficient in Canva (for rapid graphic production) and CapCut (for engaging, fast-paced video editing)

Hands-on experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or other professional design platforms is an advantage

Fluent in written and spoken English

Proven track record of meeting deadlines with minimal supervision with a high sense of urgency

Comfortable handling digital cameras or smartphone photography tools for event coverage
