Job summary

Cameron Bharat Plantations Sdn Bhd – Cameron Highlands, Pahang, is hiring an Internal Control Executive to support the implementation and maintenance of an effective control framework.

The role covers internal control policy development, compliance with SOPs, and assisting in internal audits. Candidates should have a Diploma or Bachelor’s in accounting/finance and 1–3 years’ related experience, with ISO knowledge as a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in accounting/finance or related field is required.
• 1–3 years' experience in internal control, audit, compliance, or risk management.
• Knowledge of ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 45001) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; high attention to detail and integrity.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining internal control policies and procedures.
• Ensure all business processes comply with SOPs, policies, and regulations.
• Conduct regular reviews of internal controls to identify gaps and weaknesses.
• Support and conduct internal audit activities based on the annual plan; prepare audit reports.
• Follow up on CAPA to ensure timely closure of audit issues.
• Identify operational, financial, and compliance risks and assist in mitigation actions.
• Maintain risk registers and support process improvements across departments.
• Prepare periodic internal control and audit reports for management review; document activities.
