Job summary

CAB Cakaran Corporation Berhad is seeking an Internal Auditor (Senior Executive/Executive) to join its internal audit team in Penang. The role covers fieldwork across Malaysia and potentially Singapore/Indonesia, with responsibility for drafting audit issues and follow-ups on corrective actions.

Candidate should hold professional qualifications (CIMA/ ACCA/ ICSA/ ASCPA/ ICAEW) and a degree or diploma in accounting, auditing, or related fields, with strong Bahasa Malaysia and English

Qualifications

• Must hold professional accounting/audit qualifications.
• Strong understanding of internal audit concepts and controls.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English with excellent report writing.

Responsibilities

• Participate in audit fieldwork, domestic and overseas (Singapore and potentially Indonesia).
• Manage fieldwork itineraries and administrative matters related to internal audits and draft audit issues.
• Perform follow-up verification on status of corrective actions from previous audit issues.
• Participate in corporate reviews and due diligence activities as required.
• Gather information and perform tests on Group-wide related party transactions.
• Assist in preparation of annual report statements and write-ups.

Education
