Job summary

Datai Plantations Sdn Bhd (DPSB) seeks a proactive finance, audit, and compliance professional to build the control framework for its plantations from the ground up. You will write SOPs for every estate and office process, train staff on compliance, and verify field worker pay on-site.

You will cross-check registers against ID documents, attendance, block output, and payments, and investigate ghost workers and fraud. Strong Excel/SQL/Power BI/Python skills and AI/LMM experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting, finance, data science or related field.
• Professional certification such as CIA, CA(M)/MIA, ACCA or CPA.

Responsibilities

• Build DPSB's control framework from the ground up.
• Write SOPs for every estate and office process.
• Obtain approvals, train staff, and test compliance.
• Conduct on-site verification of field worker pay.
• Cross-check worker registers with docs, attendance, outputs, and payments.
• Identify ghost workers and fraudulent muster records.
• Prevent losses from theft, tampering and collusion.
• Ensure compliance with MACC Act 17A, TRUST, ISO 37001, MCCG 2021, MSPO/RSPO wage requirements.
• Ensure ERP data accuracy and monitor system access rights.
• Develop monthly tests and dashboards; apply AI/LLMs to data analysis.
