Job summary

MR D.I.Y Trading Sdn Bhd is seeking an Executive/Senior Executive Internal Audit to assist in risk-based operational, financial, and compliance audits across our network. You will review internal controls, identify improvements, prepare reports, and follow up on audit issues.

Applicants should have a degree in accounting/finance, 1–4 years relevant experience, and strong Excel skills; CIA/ACCA/CPA is a plus. Willingness to travel to stores, branches, warehouses, and other locations is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
• 1–4 years of relevant experience in Internal Audit, External Audit, Compliance or related areas is preferred.
• Solid understanding of audit, internal controls and risk management.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills; strong communication and report writing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk-based operational, financial and compliance audits.
• Assess adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls to mitigate risks.
• Identify areas for improvement and follow up on audit recommendations.
• Prepare reports and communicate findings to Audit Manager and process owners.
• Assist in developing audit programs and audit assignments.
• Follow up on open audit issues and provide actionable recommendations for improvements.
