Job summary

Hospital Fatimah in Ipoh, Perak seeks an Independent Internal Auditor to provide objective appraisal of governance, risk management, controls and compliance across the hospital's activities.

The Internal Auditor monitors and assesses risks, evaluates controls, and ensures adherence to laws, plans, policies, and safeguarding of assets. The role reports to the Board of Directors and supports governance.

Job description

1.The InternalAuditorisresponsible forprovidingindependentandobjectiveappraisal of

theHospital’sactivitiessoastoenabletheBoardofDirectorstoassess theeffectiveness

oftheorganization’ssystemsofgovernance,riskmanagement,controls andcompliance.

2.Theinternal auditor’sroleistomonitorandassesstheHospital’srisksandtheefficacy

ofitsriskmanagementefforts,evaluatetheinternal controlsin placeandensurethatthe

Hospitaliscomplyingwithrelevantlaws,plansandpolicies andthattheHospital’sassets

are safeguardedandits resourcesareusedefficiently.

3.InternalauditisindependentofthemanagementoftheHospital.TheInternalAuditor

reportsdirectly totheBoardofDirectors.Theinternalauditofficeisattached totheChief

OperatingOfficer’sofficeforadministrativepurposesonly.
