Job summary

Swift is seeking an Intern Software/Systems Engineer to join the STS team in Kuala Lumpur for a 6-month internship. You will gain hands-on experience in software development, DevOps practices, cloud technologies, and Agile delivery while contributing to a global financial technology application.

You will work with a cross-functional Scrum team, learn Java development, participate in Agile ceremonies, and gain exposure to CI/CD pipelines and testing practices in a multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's degree in CS/SE/IT or related field.
• Basic knowledge of Java programming and OOP concepts.
• Familiarity with Git and software development fundamentals.
• Interest in automation, scripting or DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Join a cross-functional Scrum team and assist in development and testing of STS components.
• Learn Java-based application development under senior engineers.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and review processes.
• Help implement automated tests and CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate with teams across Malaysia and Europe.
