Jabil, a global manufacturing solutions company, is seeking a software-focused professional in Penang, Malaysia. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and documenting software across projects, with emphasis on clean, maintainable code and rigorous debugging.

Ideal candidates will be proficient in Python, C, C++, and JavaScript, understand the SDLC, communicate well within teams, and demonstrate analytical problem-solving skills. Diploma holders and above are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Major in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Diploma or higher is acceptable.
• Ability to design, develop, and test software.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and test software, including scripts.
• Write clean, readable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Debug and resolve software issues and bugs.
• Create and maintain software documentation.
• Ensure the functionality of software through various testing methods.
• Conduct research to support development tasks and explore problem-solving approaches.
• Manage assigned tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
• Report progress regularly to mentors or supervisors.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test software, including scripts.

Key Skills

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, C, C++, JavaScript.

• Understanding and applying the Software Development Lifecycle.

• Ability to effectively communicate with team members.

• Analytical and creative problem solving skills.

Optional Skills

• Capable to safely and effectively work with electrical circuits, wiring, and power supplies.
• Familiarity with various communication protocols, such as I2C, SPI, UART.
• Sound knowledge in machine vision techniques, such as image acquisition, image processing.
