Job summary

Signature Market is seeking an intern in finance or accounting to support daily financial record-keeping, payments, and administrative tasks. You will handle filing, data entry, petty cash, and basic bank dealings.

Requirements include a Diploma/Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting, strong MS Excel, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to take on ad hoc duties. Must be 18+ and a Malaysian citizen.

• Strong MS Excel skills and experience with computerized accounting environments.
• Willing to take on ad hoc duties.
• Good time and stress management.
• Independent, self-motivated and a team player.
• Must be 18+ years old and a Malaysian citizen.
• Minimum 3 months of internship.

Responsibilities

• Keeping accurate records for daily transactions.
• Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, scanning, etc.
• Provide administrative support to ensure efficient office operations.
• Calculate and check payments, amounts and records for accuracy.
• Manage petty cash transactions.
• Go to the bank if necessary.
• Coordinate and participate in company events, programs and projects.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

Keeping accurate records for all daily transactions.

Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, scanning, etc.

Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.

Calculate and check to make sure payments, amounts and records are accurate.

Manage petty cash transactions.

Require to go to the bank if necessary.

Coordinate and participate in company events/programs/projects.

Other duties may arise from time to time and may be assigned to the employee as necessary.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.

Good command of Microsoft Office applications (MS Excel in particular) and open to experience working in a computerized accounting environment.

Willing to stand by for ad hoc duties.

High emotional intelligence and strong people skills.

Possess a positive mindset and is able to work in a fast-moving work environment.

Independent, highly driven, Result-driven, and self-motivated.

Good time management & Stress management.

Resourceful, meeting deadlines, ability to work independently & good team player.

Must be age 18 and above and Malaysiancitizen.

Minimum 3 months of internship.
