Job summary

Alcon in Malaysia is seeking a Human Resources Intern to partner with the HR Manager and support key initiatives across the organization. This role provides broad exposure to employee engagement, onboarding, HR operations, and organizational projects.

You will assist in onboarding, support engagement and learning & development programs, help maintain HR records, prepare communications and reports, and collaborate with teams to drive people objectives in a dynamic multinational environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in onboarding and orientation activities for new hires and interns.
• Support employee engagement, culture, wellness, and learning & development programs.
• Help maintain HR records, reports, and documentation while ensuring confidentiality and data accuracy.
• Assist in preparing HR communications, presentations, reports, and workforce insights.
• Support the coordination and execution of talent management and organizational development activities.
• Participate in HR projects, process improvement initiatives, and other strategic people programs as assigned.
• Collaborate with associates, managers, and cross-functional teams to support business and people objectives.

The Human Resources Intern will partner closely with the HR Manager to support key HR initiatives and day-to-day people activities across the organization. This role provides broad exposure to various HR functions, including employee engagement, learning & development, onboarding, HR operations, talent initiatives, and organizational projects, offering an excellent opportunity to gain practical HR experience in a dynamic multinational environment.
