Job summary

Piau Kee Live & Frozen Seafoods Sdn Bhd is offering an accounting internship in Kuala Lumpur area. You will work with the Accounts team to gain hands-on experience in daily accounting operations and financial administration. Excellent interns may be considered for a permanent position after graduation.

Location is Cheras, Kuala Lumpur with free parking and convenient transport. Training and guidance are provided to help you grow in manufacturing finance roles.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Finance.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Prefer internship of minimum 3 months.
• Outstanding performance may lead to permanent position.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounting data entry and updating records.
• Assist in updating the accounting system for customer payments collected.
• Assist with processing payments to vendors/suppliers.
• Assist with bank-in transactions and related documentation.
• Perform proper filing and maintenance of accounting documents and records.
• Check invoices, payment documents, dates and supporting documents.
• Support the Accounts team in day-to-day accounting and administrative operations.
• Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by the superior or management.

Job description

Gain valuable hands-on accounting experience through practical exposure to daily accounting operations, documentation and financial administration. Work closely with the Accounts team to develop your accounting knowledge and practical skills in a real working environment. Exceptional interns may also have the opportunity to be considered for a permanent position upon graduation.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with checking invoices, payment documents, dates and supporting documents.
• Support the Accounts team in day-to-day accounting and administrative operations.
• Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by the superior or management.

Job Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Good communication skill, problem-solving skill, attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Preferable internship of minimum 3 months.
• Outstanding performance during the internship may be considered for a permanent position.

Training and guidance will be provided from time to time
