Job summary

Vision Art Graphic Sdn. Bhd. in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur is seeking an interior designer to join our commercial interiors team. You will work on retail, F&B, and mall fit-out projects, crafting creative concepts and detailed drawings.

Responsibilities include mood boards, space planning, coordinating with contractors and mall management, and ensuring timelines and budgets are met. Fresh graduates with strong portfolios are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in interior design, architecture or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in commercial interior design; fresh graduates with strong portfolio welcome.
• Experience in retail, F&B, or mall fit-out projects is a plus.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max or similar design software.
• Strong creative, spatial and visual presentation skills.
• Good communication with clients, contractors and mall authorities.
• Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand design preferences, brand identity, budget and commercial project requirements.
• Develop interior design concepts, mood boards and space planning layouts tailored for commercial environments.
• Prepare detailed design drawings, 3D visualisations and material specifications for retail, F&B and mall fit-out projects.
• Coordinate with main contractors, suppliers, mall management and project teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Conduct regular site visits to shopping malls and commercial premises to monitor progress and ensure design intent is met.
• Manage project timelines and ensure delivery within budget and mall tenancy schedule.
• Keep up to date with commercial interior design trends, materials and finishing options.
