Job summary

HABIB Group in Malaysia is seeking a proactive Senior Executive, Quantity Surveyor to support commercial and cost management across interior design, fit-out, renovation, and construction projects.

The role covers cost planning, tender management, contract administration, budget control, and project cost reporting to ensure delivery within approved budgets. The candidate should have 4–6 years of relevant experience and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant QS experience; interior design/fit-out preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation, tendering, procurement, and contract admin.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage project costs across the lifecycle, including budgeting and cost control.
• Prepare and evaluate Bills of Quantities, tender documents, and cost estimates.
• Review progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
• Monitor budgets, track cost performance, and identify risks and savings.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain cost records and commercial reports to support decision-making.
