Job summary

Jusgreat Sdn Bhd is seeking a Construction Quantity Surveyor (ID Scope) based in Selangor to join the team. You will gain hands-on exposure across cost control, tendering, claims and site coordination for both construction and interior fit-out projects, including Genting Highlands site work.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, at least three years of relevant interior design QS or construction experience, and Mandarin/English communication skills for liaising with

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, or related field.
• Minimum three years in interior design QS or construction.
• Experience with BOQ, tendering, cost analysis, measurement or variation orders.
• Mandarin and English communication skills required.
• Good computer literacy and detail orientation.
• Willingness to travel to Genting Highlands and project sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities, tender documents and quotations.
• Measure site progress and verify quantities with subcontractors.
• Prepare and submit interim progress claims and variation orders.
• Monitor project costs and maintain commercial records.
• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, clients and site supervisors.
• Review quotations and support sub-package awards with cost tabulations.
• Support material pricing, shop drawings and other submissions.
• Measure and verify IPCs for cash flow.
• Assess and negotiate changes to design or scope using contract rates.
• Track costs against baseline budgets and forecast final costs.
• Evaluate contractor or subcontractor claims for loss, expense or delay.
• Settle and agree final accounts with all parties on project completion.
