Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking an Intermediate to Senior Interior Designer with experience in Corporate Office, Retail or FnB projects to lead complex interior design projects from concept to execution, mentor junior designers, and collaborate with clients to translate brand identity into compelling spaces.

You will oversee timelines, budgets, and resources, stay updated with industry trends and new materials, and contribute to a collaborative design environment reporting to the Design Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• 3–5 years for Intermediate or 6+ years for Senior in relevant projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong portfolio of interior design projects, including office spaces.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex interior design projects, from concept development to execution, ensuring design vision is translated into stunning, functional spaces.

Are you strong in design sense and conceptualisation? Or perhaps you're good at 3D Designing & have led a team before? We're looking for Intermediate to Senior Interior Designers with experience in Corporate Office, Retail OR FnB projects (or if you've done all of the above):

• Lead complex interior design projects, from concept development to execution, ensuring design vision is translated into stunning, functional spaces.

about the requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• For Intermediate: min of 3-5 years of experience in interior design, with a proven track record of leading and managing projects.
• For Senior: min 6 year of experience in either corporate office, retail or FnB projects.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of successful interior design projects, including office spaces.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, teams, and stakeholders.
• Resume should include the list of projects you've done before.
• Proficient in Mandarin would be a plus point.
• Strong in conceptualisation and design sense.
• Has experience or is comfortable working with China clients
