AMEC Academy Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced trainer with CAAM Part-66 licensing or an engineering degree to teach and certify maintenance personnel. Candidates should have a background in aircraft maintenance, with teaching and instructional skills preferred.
Experience in AMO/MTO and familiarity with CAAM/EASA standards is valued. The role includes developing curriculum, supervising trainees, and maintaining a safe learning environment in hangar and classroom settings.
Hold CAAM part-66 license Category A1/B1.1/ B2
or hold a Bachelor in Aeronautical Engineering / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
Aircraft maintenance with experience is preferred.
Teaching experience is preferred.
Certifying experience is preferred.
At least three (3) years of working experience in AMO/MTO or equivalent.
Attended an Instructional Teaching Technique course is preferred.
Attended a Part-147 course, Part 145, Part 66, Part M and Part 21.Attended AMEC MTOE/CAD Familiarization Training is preferred.
Conduct instructional duties to AMEC trainees for which he/she is qualified.
Develop and update daily lesson plans/practical worksheets, course notes, training aids and materials.
Maintain classrooms and hangar/workshops atmosphere conducive to learning with emphasis to discipline.
Observe and enforce the Academy’s regulations pertaining to trainees’ conduct, discipline and dress code.
Promote and enforce safety awareness with respect to hangar/workshops and classroom activities.
Ensure that all training aids and components are always maintained in serviceable conditions.
Record trainees’ daily attendance.
Counsel and tutor trainees as required.
Assist Training Manager in the preparation of curriculum materials.
Update the training process to the Training Manager.
Knowledge Instructor is responsible to prepare, compile and submit potential questions (MCQ & essay) to the Examination Center for which he/she is qualified.
Undertake duties of invigilator where he/she is not involved in the instruction of that module examination.
Instructors are responsible to evaluate and validate students completed practical task.
Always observe and abide by AMEC Instructor’s Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct.
Carry out appropriate corrective actions, where instructed, to clear non-compliances raised in Training Dept.
Perform all additional function as directed by Training Manager.
