Job summary

Airbus Helicopters Malaysia SDN. BHD. is seeking a Professional Licensed Aircraft Engineer to inspect, maintain and repair aircraft to meet safety and regulatory standards.

You will diagnose mechanical issues, perform routine maintenance, supervise technicians, ensure safety compliance and document activities for records and regulatory purposes. The role requires CAAM B1.3 with at least one Airbus type rating, Part 66 B1.3, SMS knowledge, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold CAAM B1.3 license with at least one Airbus Helicopters type rated endorsed.
• Must have Part 66 Category B1.3 license; CAA Malaysia ratings preferred.
• Willing to travel away from base.
• Knowledge of Safety Management System (SMS).
• Good knowledge of EASA/FAA and CAAM regulations.
• EC225 or/and H160 or/and AS365 ratings are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all aircraft maintenance tasks as assigned in base and out of base.
• Perform tasks within specific time frame and maintain high quality standard.
• Ensure a conducive working environment by practicing good housekeeping and proper usage of tools, equipment and facilities.
• Responsible for compliance with safety requirements in relation to the task performed.
• Lead and coordinate technicians and mechanics, promoting teamwork.
• Proactively acquire relevant knowledge to improve work performance.
• Cost effectively manage consumables and minimize spare parts wastage.
• Ensure tasks are evenly distributed to team members and foster team spirit.
• Be responsible for personnel performance, training, compliance and maintenance staff evaluations.
• Uphold Airbus Values, Leadership Model and Code of Conduct; set an example for others.
• Carry out any other task as directed related to AHM and MRO activities.

• Cost effective in managing consumables used during maintenance activities including spare wastage control.
• To ensure tasks are evenly distributed to team members and to install team spirit at all times.
• Be responsible for personnel performance, training, compliance and maintenance staff evaluations
• Upkeep and live Airbus Values, Leadership Model and Code of Conduct to be the exemplary to others and to promote and increase the awareness of Airbus Values, Leadership Models and Code Of Conduct.
• Carry out any other task as directed by the superior related to AHM and MRO activity.

Minimum Requirements

• Must hold CAAM B1.3 license with minimum of one (1) Airbus Helicopters type rated endorsed in the license. Additional type will be an added advantage. Experience with at least 5 years on Airbus Helicopters Product.
• Must have Part 66 Category B1.3 license and preferably with CAA Malaysia ratings
• Eligible and available to travel for away from the base,
• Knowledge of Safety Management System (SMS)
• Good knowledge of EASA/FAA and CAAM Regulations.
• Rated with EC225 or/and H160 or/and AS365 is an advantage
