Airbus Helicopters Malaysia SDN. BHD. seeks a professional Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to inspect, maintain, and repair aircraft, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Lead technicians, coordinate tasks, and uphold Airbus values while maintaining meticulous maintenance records.

The role requires CAAM Part 66 B1.3 license with Airbus helicopter type ratings and at least 5 years of experience on Airbus Helicopters products, with SMS knowledge and regulatory familiarity.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Carry out all aircraft maintenance tasks as assigned in base and out of base.
• Perform tasks within defined time frames while maintaining high quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements during all tasks.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of technicians and mechanics as needed.
• Maintain and update records of maintenance activities for regulatory purposes.

Additionally LAE may supervise and coordinate the work of technicians and mechanics, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and document all maintenance activities for record-keeping and regulatory purpose.

Key Responsibilities

• To carry out all aircraft maintenance tasks as assigned in base and out of base.
• To perform assigned task within specific time frame and maintaining high quality standard.
• To ensure a conducive working environment by practicing good housekeeping and proper usage of tools, equipment and facilities.
• Responsible for compliance of safety requirement in relation to the task performed
• To practice and instill a good work attitude and leadership qualities at all time
• To take self-initiate to acquire relevant knowledge to enrich and help improve work performance.
• To ensure a conducive working environment by practicing good housekeeping and proper usage of tools, equipment and facilities.
• Cost effective in managing consumables used during maintenance activities including spare wastage control.
• To ensure tasks are evenly distributed to team members and to install team spirit at all times.
• Be responsible for personnel performance, training, compliance and maintenance staff evaluations
• Upkeep and live Airbus Values, Leadership Model and Code of Conduct to be the exemplary to others and to promote and increase the awareness of Airbus Values, Leadership Models and Code Of Conduct.
• Carry out any other task as directed by the superior with respect to both AHM and MRO(Maintenance dept.) activity

Minimum Requirements

• Must hold CAAM B1.3 license with minimum of one (1) Airbus Helicopters type rated endorsed in the license. Additional type will be an added advantage. Experience with at least 5 years on Airbus Helicopters Product.
• Must have Part 66 Category B1.3 license and preferably with CAA Malaysia ratings
• Knowledge of Safety Management System (SMS)
• Good knowledge of EASA/FAA and CAAM Regulations.
• Rated with EC225/AS365N3/H160 is an advantage.
