AMEC Academy Sdn Bhd, a Johor-based aircraft maintenance training institution, seeks a Quality Assurance Executive to assist the QAM in coordinating and performing independent audits of departments and subcontractors. The role focuses on maintaining QMS effectiveness, reviewing processes, and tracking corrective actions to meet CAAM and AMEC requirements.

Ideal candidates have experience with document control, compliance investigations, and continuous improvement within aviation training.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA audits and QMS processes.
• Familiarity with CAAM requirements and EASA Part66 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist QAM to coordinate and perform independent audit on departments and sub-contractors.
• Review and implement work processes for effectiveness and efficiency.
• Monitor corrective actions to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Review and update Maintenance Training Organization Exposition per CAAM updates.
• Carry out course critique analysis on completed modules and plan remedial actions.
• Assist QAM in organizing in-house training per plan.
• Identify QA training needs for staff development.
• Prepare annual audit plans for internal, surveillance and sub-contractors.
• Ensure documents, personnel approvals, folders and databases are up to date.
• Verify assessment and authorization of AMEC qualifying personnel and internal auditors.
• Promote awareness and enforcement of QMS and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in Quality Management Review.
• Perform additional duties as directed.

Job description

• Assist QAM to coordinate and perform independent audit on departments and sub-contractors to monitor their compliance to the approving authorities and AMEC requirements as schedule plan.
• Carry out the review and implementation of work processes to ensure its effectiveness and efficiency as per the regulatory and AMEC’s requirements.
• Monitor all corrective action requests are taken within the stipulated time frame and when completed meet their intended purpose.
• To review and update the Maintenance Training Organization Exposition in compliance with any latest changes in the CAAM requirements and to ensure relevant second level documents are updated accordingly.
• To carry out course critique analysis on completed module class as schedule and any remedial action required for the purpose of continuous improvement.
• To assist QAM organizing and coordinate in – house training according to plan.
• Identify the training needs of QA personnel for continuous improvement of its staffs.
• Prepare an annual internal, surveillance and sub – contractor audit plan every beginning of the first week of the year.
• To monitor the proper management and control of all approved documents, personnel approval, folders and databases are up to date.
• Carry out verification of assessment and authorization of AMEC qualifying personnel and internal auditors.
• To promote awareness, implementation and enforce the company QMS and regulatory requirements for the improvement of its current processes, controls and quality system.
• To act as a member in the Quality Management review.
• Perform additional functions directed by the superior.
