Job summary

Accenture Southeast Asia is seeking a skilled instructional designer to create and deliver compelling learning experiences for diverse client teams in Malaysia. You will collaborate across client and internal teams to analyze business needs, design curricula, and produce high‑quality training materials across ILT and digital formats.

The role demands strong content design, up‑to‑date industry trends, and comfort with common authoring tools to craft effective programs and coach junior designers.

Qualifications

• Graduate/Postgraduate in any specialization; preferred fields include Journalism/Mass Communication/English Literature/Advertising/Public Relations
• 6+ years proven experience in content development and instructional design
• Experience in delivering multiple training modalities: ILT, Web-Based Trainings, simulations, job aids, quick references

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client teams to understand business problems and design delivery plans
• Conduct Training Needs Analysis to develop curricula
• Develop detailed content outlines and design standards for training solutions
• Coordinate with stakeholders to create relevant deliverables
• Review deliverables to meet quality parameters and industry standards
• Identify risks and discuss mitigations with project leads
• Coach designers to prepare materials for workshops
• Introduce innovative learning strategies into solutions

The Practice- A Brief Sketch:

• Collaborate with the client team to understand the business problem, identify the solution approach and work through the design, development, and delivery phases.
• Conduct Training Needs Analysis to develop the training curriculum.
• Develop high-quality and detailed content outlines as per the curriculum.
• Design standards, guidelines, templates, and checklists for the proposed learning solution.
• Collaborate with internal and client stakeholders to design and develop relevant and effective training deliverables.
• Review training deliverables to ensure that the deliverable quality is as per the project quality parameters and industry standards.
• Identify and share the risks with the Project Leads/Functional Manager to discuss possible solutions/mitigations/alternatives.
• Coach instructional designers and content developers to prepare materials for instructor development workshops.
• Provide clear and effective feedback to team with the intent to develop their instructional design skills.
• Identify opportunities to implement new and innovative learning strategies into the solution.

• Leverage proficiency in instructional design, research and information gathering, content analysis, content design, knowledge of latest trends in the learning industry.
• Apply your strong knowledge in industry standard design/rapid authoring tools such as Articulate/Captivate/ Lectora/ Camtasia/ SAP Enable Now/WalkMe and be comfortable with client proprietary authoring tools. An ideal candidate should be well-versed with the technical functionalities and limitations of these tools.
• Work in a problem-solving global environment with Cross cultural competence.
• Possess excellent interpersonal and writing skills with a strong business acumen.

Your experience counts!

• Graduate/Postgraduate in any specialization, preferably Journalism / Mass Communication / English Literature /Advertising / Public Relations
• Desired work experience: 6+years of proven experience in content development and instructional designing
• Extensive experience in developing, reviewing and delivering different training modalities like Instructor-Led Trainings, Web-Based Trainings, application simulations, job aids, and quick reference guides
• Experience in leading and coaching small teams independently
