Job summary

Sunsuria Berhad in Selangor is seeking a Civil & Structural Site Supervisor to oversee construction activities at Sepang site. You will ensure works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, QESH standards and safety requirements while coordinating with contractors, consultants and internal teams.

Key duties include supervising C&S works per master programs, reviewing drawings for accuracy, conducting field inspections, and supporting handover procedures.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in Civil & Structural construction supervision or site coordination.
• Strong ability to interpret and verify construction drawings, specifications and work programmes.
• Experience coordinating contractors, subcontractors, consultants and inspection activities.

Responsibilities

• Report daily site progress and issues to the Manager/Senior Manager, Project.
• Oversee and monitor Civil & Structural works to align with master and detailed work programs.
• Supervise site activities to ensure works follow project specifications, drawings and quality standards.
• Liaise with contractors, sub-contractors and consultants for inspections and coordination matters.
• Review and verify C&S drawings for accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct inspections at various construction stages to ensure conformity with specs, quality and safety.
• Coordinate with contractor to submit Request for Works Inspection (RFWI) prior to inspections.
• Issue Site Memo and/or Non-Conformance Report to contractors for non-compliances and ensure timely closure.
• Prepare and verify PQP forms, checklists, and maintain daily site records.
• Participate in Pre-Delivery Inspection with contractor and teams prior to handover.
• Ensure adherence to internal processes, procedures and QESH standards.
• Verify progress claims and validate completed work.
• Experience with Qlassic and Shassic projects is an advantage.
• Perform other duties as assigned by superior.

Join the project team as a Civil & Structural Site Supervisor, overseeing construction activities and ensuring site works are delivered in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, work programmes, internal processes and QESH standards. You will work closely with contractors, subcontractors, consultants and internal teams to support inspections, resolve non-compliances, verify progress and contribute to a smooth handover process.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise site activities to ensure all works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
• Liaise with contractors, sub-contractors, and consultants for site inspections and coordination matters.
• Review and verify C&S drawings to ensure technical accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct inspections at various stages of construction to ensure work conforms to specifications, quality, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with contractor to submit Request for Works Inspection (RFWI) prior to any inspection works at site.
• Issue Site Memo and/ or Non-Conformance Report (NCR) to contractor for any non-compliances of work and ensure timely completion and closing of report.
• Prepare and verify PQP forms, checklists, and maintain accurate daily site records.
• Participate in Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) with contractor and respective teams prior to handing over process.
• Ensure adherence to the company’s internal processes, procedures, and QESH standards.

• Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time by the superior.

What we're looking for

• Strong understanding of construction quality control, safety requirements, inspection processes and non-conformance management.
• Ability to maintain accurate site records and review progress claims and completed works.
• Good communication, coordination, reporting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with projects involving Qlassic and Shassic will be an advantage.
• Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction or a related discipline will be advantageous.
