Job summary

Jurutera Jasa (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd in Sarawak is seeking an experienced Inspector of Works to oversee civil-site activities and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Civil Engineering, is registered with BEM as Inspector-of-Works, and has 10–15 years of on-site supervision experience.

The role requires full-time site supervision, strong reporting, and close coordination with contractors and consultants.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering from recognized university.
• Registered with BEM as Inspector-of-Works.
• 10 to 15 years site experience in supervision works.
• Full time supervision at Site.
• Familiar with construction drawings and specifications.
• Able to monitor site quality, workmanship and safety compliance.
• Good communication and coordination skills with contractors and consultants.
• Proficient in preparing site reports, inspection records, and daily site diaries.
• Possess valid driving license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor construction works to ensure compliance with approved drawing and specifications.
• Record daily site activities, progress, and non-compliance issues.
• Coordinate with contractors on rectification and corrective works.
• Assist Resident Engineer / Supervision Engineer in site inspections and reporting.

Job description
