Job summary

Vizione Holdings Berhad is seeking an Inspector of Works to oversee regular site inspections, ensuring architectural quality and compliance with codes and design requirements. The role involves coordinating with contractors and project managers, reporting defects, and providing technical guidance to the team.

The ideal candidate holds an Architecture degree, a valid IOW certificate from LAM, and at least five years of experience in a similar role, with strong drawing interpretation skills and

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture or related field.
• Valid IOW certificate from LAM.
• Minimum 5 years of Inspector of Works experience.
• Strong understanding of architectural design, construction methods and regulations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder liaison skills.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of architectural works.
• Liaise with contractors, architects, and project managers to address issues or non-conformities.
• Ensure all architectural works comply with building codes, regulations and design requirements.

Job description

Job Requirement

Degree in Architecture or a related field

Possess valid Inspector of Work (IOW) certificate from Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM)

Minimum 5 years of experience as an Inspector of Work or similar role in the construction industry

Thorough understanding of architectural design, construction methods, and building regulations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders

Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
