Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Possess valid Inspector of Work (IOW) certificate from Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM).
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Inspector of Work or similar role in the construction industry.
• Thorough understanding of architectural design, construction methods, and building regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of architectural work.
• Liaise with contractors, architects, and project managers to address issues or non-conformities.
• Ensure all architectural works comply with building codes, regulations, and design requirements.
• Document and report on the status of architectural works, including defects or deviations.
• Assist in the coordination and integration of architectural works with other trades.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the project team as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
