Job summary

PROFICIENT QUALITY SDN BHD in Malaysia is seeking an Injection Moulding Technician to lead machine setup, mould changes and process adjustments to ensure smooth production.

You will set parameters like temperature, pressure, speed and cycle time, troubleshoot issues, perform daily inspections and mentor technicians and operators.

This role requires maintaining records, upholding safety and housekeeping, and assisting the Production Manager to improve productivity and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead injection moulding machine setup, mould changing and process adjustment.
• Set and optimise moulding parameters including temperature, pressure, speed and cycle time.
• Troubleshoot machine, mould, process and product quality issues.
• Ensure stable production and reduce rejection, downtime and cycle time.
• Perform daily machine inspection and basic maintenance.
• Guide technicians, operators and production team members on technical issues.
• Communicate effectively with team members and cross-functional departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain process records, checklists, safety and good housekeeping.
• Ensure production meets quality, safety, and productivity targets.
• Assist the Production Manager in improving productivity and efficiency
