Job summary

V.S. Industry Berhad seeks a Injection Moulding Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer to manage customer-facing aspects after handover, coordinate from tooling to mass production, and drive improvements across tooling trials and production lines.

The role requires a bachelor's in polymer/plastic engineering, at least 2 years in plastic injection moulding project engineering, strong knowledge of injection moulding processes and NPI, and the ability to read drawings and operate basic

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Polymer/Plastic Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in project engineering in plastic injection moulding.
• Good knowledge of injection moulding processes and NPI.
• Able to read engineering drawings and operate basic measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical liaison with customers after project handover from Marketing.
• Coordinate new project activities from tooling trial to mass production and ensure timely completion.
• Monitor tooling trials, sample submissions, and engineering changes to meet customer requirements.
• Conduct fit and function testing, review measurements, and prepare submission documents.
• Drive continuous process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce cycle time.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, yield and tooling improvement reports.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality and other departments to ensure successful project implementation.
• Provide regular project status updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
