Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in injection moulding engineering or related manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of injection moulding processes, material properties, processing parameters, and quality control methods.
• Proficiency with CAD software and injection moulding simulation tools such as Moldflow or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of tooling design principles and mould maintenance practices.
• Experience in process optimisation and troubleshooting complex moulding challenges.
• Knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9001 or equivalent.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Experience in production planning and scheduling is advantageous.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.

• Conduct root cause analysis on production failures and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Prepare technical documentation, process specifications, and standard operating procedures for production teams.
• Support production planning and scheduling to ensure efficient resource utilisation and on-time delivery.
• Liaise with quality assurance teams to establish and maintain product quality standards and specifications.
• Train and provide technical guidance to production operators and technicians on best practices and equipment operation.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Engineer in Shah Alam, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in optimising our injection moulding operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products. As an Injection Moulding Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving injection moulding processes, equipment, and tooling to meet production targets whilst maintaining strict quality standards.
