Job summary
NORMA Products Malaysia is seeking a Tooling Technician for its injection moulding operations. You will operate, setup, and maintain injection moulding machines, perform mould changes, troubleshoot issues, and verify part quality.
The role requires 1–2 years in a similar field with a background in milling, grinding, and lathe work. Strong problem-solving, safety awareness, and basic computer skills in PowerPoint and Excel are essential.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in a similar tooling/manufacturing role.
- Completed SPM or a certificate in technical/vocational education.
- Able to operate conventional machines (milling, grinding, lathe).
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Discipline to complete tasks safely and on time.
- Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel.
Responsibilities
- Molds cleaning and servicing for production.
- Solve mold problems on the machines.
- Ensure production schedule is met.
- Ensure proper recording in Daily Job Report.
- Able to understand engineering drawings.
- Able to handle all conventional machines.
- Assist superior when required.
