Job summary

SHS Plastics Industries in Malaysia seeks a maintenance technician to oversee injection machine setup, ensure smooth production, and meet customer requirements. You will troubleshoot technical and electrical issues to prevent breakdowns and drive safety and productivity through WIP initiatives.

Responsibilities include planning maintenance schedules, keeping logs and data sheets, and maintaining machines, molds and spare parts to extend equipment life.

Responsibilities

• Injection machine setup and ensure smooth production runs to meet customer requirements.
• Troubleshoot technical and electrical issues to prevent machinery breakdowns.
• Propose Work Improvement Plan (WIP) to improve safety and productivity.
• Collaborate with the production supervisor on quality inspection and defect reduction.
• Plan and record equipment maintenance schedules.
• Maintain machines, equipment, molds and spare parts in top working condition.
• Reduce machine breakdowns and extend machine life through regular maintenance.
• Submit machinery data sheets to management and update quarterly.
• Keep maintenance logs for all machinery and servicing reports.
