Job summary

FD Precision Technology Sdn Bhd is seeking a Process Engineer to join the engineering team in Sungai Petani, Kedah, on a full-time basis. The role focuses on developing, validating and improving plastic injection moulding and assembly processes to meet quality, productivity and cost targets.

You will monitor production issues, implement corrective actions, and establish process standards. The position welcomes fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of working experience in a related field will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of process improvement and problem-solving.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Good communication, teamwork and analytical skills.
• Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize and improve plastic injection moulding and assembly processes to achieve quality, productivity and cost targets.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production and assembly process issues and implement effective corrective actions.
• Establish and maintain process parameters, work instructions and process standards.
• Support new product development, trial runs and process validation.
• Conduct process improvement activities to reduce cycle time, rejection and production costs.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering and Maintenance teams to resolve process-related issues.
• Monitor machine and process performance and recommend improvement actions.
• Support continuous improvement activities and ensure compliance with company quality and safety requirements.
