Jora Malaysia is seeking an Infrastructure Maintenance Engineer based in JB to oversee daily operation and maintenance of data center electrical, HVAC and weak current systems. The role requires executing routine maintenance, handling equipment faults, and providing on-site duty with off-hour response.
You will manage safety, capacity, availability and cost optimization, maintain facility data, monitor alarms, perform MOP reviews, and drive incident root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.

Responsible for daily operation and maintenance of data center electrical, HVAC and weak current systems, execute routine maintenance plans and handle equipment faults. Provide on-site duty and respond to off-hour emergencies promptly in accordance with standard procedures to ensure stable system operation.
Manage data center infrastructure safety, capacity, availability and cost optimization, and continuously optimize processes to improve overall operational efficiency.
Maintain complete and accurate facility infrastructure data, regularly check monitoring system alarm settings, and complete facility inspection, MOP review and closed-loop management.
Rapidly respond to operational incidents, handle troubleshooting per EOP requirements, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure all faults are fully and compliantly closed.
Master IDC power, HVAC and low-voltage system structures and working principles to quickly locate faults and implement effective recovery measures; track and mitigate various operational risks.
Develop and execute MOPs for facility maintenance and renovation projects, ensure all infrastructure changes are implemented safely without service disruption.
Support on-site implementation of infrastructure optimization projects, and proactively propose upgrade and optimization solutions.
Provide professional training and mentoring for front-line O&M staff.
Conduct cross-team and cross-regional remote collaboration with cross-language communication capability, and complete ad-hoc tasks including emergency support and critical guarantee work.
Familiar with IDC room environment and monitoring systems, able to independently complete facility inspection, fault judgment and recovery of power, HVAC and weak current systems.
Experienced in infrastructure monitoring, capacity, safety and availability management, capable of optimizing operational efficiency.
Familiar with core IDC facilities including power distribution, UPS, CRAC and fire suppression systems, with proficient incident management skills.
Possess strong emergency decision-making, problem-solving and analytical abilities, with good teamwork and communication skills.
Major in Electrical Engineering, HVAC, Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines.
Full-time college degree or above.
2–3 years or above relevant data center infrastructure O&M working experience.
Fluent in both English and Mandarin for daily technical and official work.
Able to accept rotational shifts and respond to off-hour emergency incidents.
