Job summary

Titanicom Tech Limited is seeking an experienced IDC/Data Center Operator to perform on-site duties, manage work orders and alarms, and support incident recovery in our Johor Bahru facility.

The role requires strong knowledge of facility systems, power, HVAC, and LV infrastructure, with emphasis on incident response, risk management, and cross-language coordination. Collaboration across teams and regions is essential.

Qualifications

• Over 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Knowledge of facility systems and basic IDC/data center operations.
• Familiar with critical infrastructure systems incl. power, HVAC, LV systems.
• Strong incident response, troubleshooting and risk management capabilities.
• Clear, logical communication with good listening and coordination skills.
• Teamwork and remote collaboration across regions.

Responsibilities

• Perform IDC data center duty, handle work orders, alarms and emergency incidents, and provide on-site support when required.
• Update and maintain infrastructure operation logs, ensure data accuracy, and submit reports on time.
• Respond quickly to infrastructure incidents per EOP and incident management requirements, report incidents and resolve faults.
• Monitor and troubleshoot critical data center infrastructure, including power, HVAC and low-voltage systems.
• Follow up on operational risks, implement mitigations, and ensure risks are resolved and closed.
• Independently develop and implement MOPs for infrastructure changes with safe execution and zero faults.
• Identify opportunities for optimization in infrastructure monitoring, capacity, safety and availability.
• Perform other duties related to data center operations as required

Perform IDC data center duty, handle work orders, alarms and emergency incidents, and provide on-site support when required. Monitor and troubleshoot critical data center infrastructure, including power, HVAC and low-voltage systems. Quickly identify fault points and provide support for incident recovery.

Key responsibilities

Perform IDC data center duty, handle work orders, alarms and emergency incidents, and provide on-site support when required

Update and maintain infrastructure operation logs, ensure data accuracy, and submit reports on time

Respond quickly to infrastructure incidents in accordance with EOP and incident management requirements, handle and report incidents promptly and follow through until fault recovery and closed-loop resolution

Monitor and troubleshoot critical data center infrastructure, including power, HVAC and low-voltage systems

Follow up on identified operational risks, implement mitigation measures, and ensure risks are properly resolved and closed

Independently develop and implement MOPs for infrastructure changes and modification projects, ensuring safe execution and zero faults caused by changes

Identify opportunities for optimization and improvement in infrastructure monitoring, capacity, safety and availability, and provide recommendations accordingly

Perform other duties related to data center operations as required

About you

More than 3 years of relevant working experience

Professional knowledge of facility systems and basic understanding of IDC/data center operations

Familiar with critical infrastructure systems, including power, HVAC and low-voltage systems, as well as their basic operating principles

Good incident response, troubleshooting and risk management capabilities

Able to communicate clearly and logically, with good listening and coordination skills

Good teamwork, remote collaboration, cross-language and cross-regional communication skills

Team management and project coordination capabilities

Able to communicate effectively in English and Chinese
