Job summary

Neuron Solutions Sdn. Bhd. in Kulai, Johor, seeks a permanent Data Center Operations Specialist with a Diploma/Advanced Diploma in electrical, mechanical, or technology fields and about 5 years of DC infrastructure experience.

Strong English communication and MS Office skills are required. Responsibilities include planning and coordinating operations, monitoring alerts, troubleshooting incidents, and maintaining uptime to meet customer SLA.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma in electrical, mechanical or technology related.
• 5 years of experience managing critical data centre infrastructures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with intermediate level.
• Ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and support Operations related activities.
• Perform Alert Monitoring triggered from the monitoring system.
• Perform first level troubleshooting, resolution and escalation based on predefined troubleshooting guide provided.
• Creation of Incident details using ticketing system provided.
• Any other duties or projects as assigned by the Management.
• To execute emergency operations procedure (EOP).
• To support and respond to customer calls, emails, and chats.
• To monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activity.
• Data center house rule and policy enforcement.
• To support all kinds of audit activity.
• To monitor and evaluate DC facilities performance and efficiency.
• To maintain Data center uptime and customer SLA.
• Response to Service Desk and service portal.

• Diploma/Degree in in electrical, mechanical or technology related.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint intermediate level. Able to communicate and written in English.
• Interesting in Data center facilities operations and maintenance for HV system, MV system, power generator, UPS, Chiller, Transformer, BMS, CPOS, DCIM and etc mission critical equipment.
• Self-driven, positive attitude, and team player. Key Responsibilities
