Job summary

WPA Partners Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced infrastructural drafter to join our civil and structural consultancy. Fresh/Intermediate/ Infrastructural Draftsperson with experience in producing infra drawings is encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include preparing detailed drawings per engineer comments, updating revisions, coordinating with Admin, and ensuring submission-ready documents. Proficiency in AutoCAD and English/Bahasa Malaysia is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient in using CAD software and MS Office.
• Minimum SPM level or diploma/degree in construction sector.
• English and Bahasa Malaysia skills, with Bahasa Malaysia as an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal, responsible, self-motivated, team player.
• Able to communicate confidently and manage time well.
• Strong understanding of civil and structural engineering practices.
• CAD software proficiency is an added advantage.
• Good spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Positive attitude; drive to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed drawings based on engineer comments within deadline and with minimal guidance.
• Keep drawings and documents neat and aligned with reviewer comments.
• Update amendments and revisions from engineers.
• Print drawings with correct pen settings (A3/A1) for submission.
• Ensure stamping is correct and error-free.
• Coordinate with Admin to hand over drawings to client when needed.

We are a civil and structural consultancy firm that is currently seeking for a suitable experience infrastructural drafter to join in our company. However, fresh drafter is encourage to apply.

WE ARE RECRUITING

Fresh/Intermediate/ Infrastructural Draftsperson (with experience in producing infra drawing).

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

1) To prepare details drawings based on engineer/superior’s comments within given deadline with minimum guidance.

2) To keep track and ensure all drawings and documentation being drawn neatly and according to reviewer’s comments with minimum guidance.

3) To update all the amendments and revision commented by engineers or superior with minimum guidance.

4) To print the related drawings with correct pen setting (A3 or A1) for submission with given deadline.

5) Drawing stamping to be done and without any error.

6) To co-ordinate with Admin Department to handover the drawings to client if necessary.

7) To report to project engineer incharge.

8) To take instruction from engineer for detail drawings preparation.

9) To co-ordinate with engineers for drawings preparation.

10) To fold and scan drawings if necessary.

SKILLS REQUIRED

1) Proficient in using computer softwares such as Microsoft Words, Excels, Autocad, etc.

2) Minimum SPM level or Diploma/Degree in related to Construction sector.

3) Required Languages : English, Bahasa Malaysia is added advantages.

4) Strong interpersonal, responsible, self-motivated, enthusiastic, good team works player and highly committed.

5) Confident and demonstrate ability to communicate with others. Good time management and able to work independent with minimum guidance.

6) Strong understanding in Civil & Structural and engineering practice.

7) Technical proficiency in CAD Software is an added advantage.

8) Good command of spoken and written in English, Bahasa Malaysia.

9) Able to work independently under minimum supervision.

10) Good interpersonal skills, high degree of responsibility, collaborative work style, teamwork, solution-oriented and outcome-driven.

11) Positive working attitude & able to put in extra hours when required.

12) The incumbent must be dynamic, people and target oriented and posses drive and motivation to succeed.
