Job summary

Veolia Water Technologies is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Malaysia to support petrochemical and oil & gas accounts with water treatment systems. You will perform water analyses, monitor cooling, boiler and RO membranes, and provide on-site troubleshooting while maintaining strong customer relations.

Based in Bintulu, you will travel to client sites, ensure timely service, and contribute to continuous improvement of process solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or applied chemistry.
3–5 years of experience in water treatment, especially in petrochemical or oil & gas.
Experience with cooling, boiler, RO membrane and wastewater monitoring and chemical application.
Own transport and a valid driver’s license.
Based in Bintulu.

Responsibilities

Ensure Veolia Water Tech reputation at the customer level.
Ensure that all assigned accounts are serviced at the prescribed frequency; conduct water analysis and troubleshooting.
Maintain a high standard of service and customer satisfaction to prevent complaints.
Interface with key customers for Veolia products and total support.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding orders, acknowledgments, amendments and alterations.
Support the commercial team in sales activities.
Develop product and system knowledge; perform preventive troubleshooting and provide technically correct recommendations.
Build communication and organizational skills; coordinate with Area/Account Manager on needs.
Maintain chemical inventories to prevent outages at customer sites.
