Johnson Controls is seeking an Industrial Sales professional in Malaysia to drive growth with end-users, contractors and consultants in the HVAC/refrigeration sector. You will design process systems, cost projects, liaise with vendors, and prepare tailored proposals to meet client needs.

The role emphasizes sustainability and profitability, with emphasis on KPI delivery, cross-functional collaboration, and market expansion across the Malaysia region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years in Chemical, Petrochemical, HVAC / Refrigeration or similar industry.
• Petrochemical, Oil and Gas background is an added advantage.
• Good communication, analytical, organizing & relationship management skills.
• Must be a proactive team player.
• Broad engineering background.
• Process Refrigeration knowledge preferred.
• Contract/project/credit management.
• Marketing & external communication.
• Pricing, quotation, business & technical proposals, negotiation with vendors/suppliers during quotation preparation, budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Industrial sales and performance growth with Malaysia end-users, contractors and consultants.
• Providing distinctive sales strategies & support including process systems designs and solutions to satisfy customers’ needs.
• Preliminary design of refrigeration system, compiling accurate project costing, liaising with vendors for quotations, and preparation of project proposals suiting client requirements.
• Developing IR business in line with company objectives of sustainability, quality earnings and continual growth.
• Execute business initiatives and commit to yield total customer satisfaction and achieve business results.
• Support the IR business in the region with sustainability, quality earnings and continual growth.
• Ensure the success of the KPIs and Leadership Review Plan (LRP) objectives within the IR LOB.
• Participate in marketing and promotion activities such as seminars, conferences, exhibitions and other events.
• Maintain existing customer base and develop new customer base to ensure continuous business growth.
• Maintain field intelligence on competitors, products, prices and promotions and develop strategies to excel.
• Execution of business operations in line with JC Singapore policies.
• Communicate and work closely with other departments to achieve company objectives.
• Support the region in-charge with Asia Pacific organization and cross-learning.
• Foster strong customer relationships enabling speed, profitability and timely payments.
• Maintain high morale and team spirit in the office environment.
• Observe, promote and practice JC culture and leadership qualities.
