Johnson Controls Malaysia is seeking a Sales Engineer who bridges field service and sales for industrial refrigeration systems. You will engage with customers to understand plant conditions and service needs, shaping proposals, maintenance solutions, warranty support, and performance guarantees.

You will collaborate with sales, service, and project teams to deliver practical solutions and build long-term customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, refrigeration, HVAC, or related field.
• Experience in industrial refrigeration service, service sales, or commissioning and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, compressors, controls, and field service practices.
• Ability to read technical drawings and documentation such as P&IDs, SLDs, MCC diagrams.
• Experience preparing technical recommendations, service scopes, or customer-facing presentations.
• Good customer communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Understanding of safe working practices in industrial environments.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and work independently in the field.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding site priorities and asset performance goals.
• Identify service opportunities through customer visits, plant audits, and technical discussions.
• Prepare and support proposals for service, maintenance, commissioning, troubleshooting, and warranty activities.
• Collaborate with sales and buyers to develop performance guarantees for products.
• Scope work with service engineers and internal stakeholders for smooth handover from sale to execution.
• Review plant condition and translate findings into clear recommendations and actions.
• Monitor customer activity for compliance with contractual obligations and performance.
• Coordinate with operations on small projects to meet outcomes on time and quality.
• Communicate progress and next steps clearly with customers and internal teams.
