Job summary
Renesas is seeking an Industrial Engineer to drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations in Malaysia. You will lead initiatives to optimize processes, improve layouts, reduce waste, and support automation readiness, aiming to enhance quality, cost, delivery and overall factory performance.
Responsibilities include leading productivity projects, implementing workstations and material flow improvements, driving standardization and reporting insights to inform decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in semiconductor or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Industrial Engineering, Lean Manufacturing and process optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive improvements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead productivity and continuous improvement projects to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.
- Develop and implement workstation, storage and material flow improvements.
- Drive standardization, poka-yoke and automation opportunities to enhance performance.
- Prepare data analyses, improvement proposals and management reports for decision-making.
