Job summary

Konica Minolta Business Solutions (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Customer Engineer to install, configure, and service high-end production and industrial printing equipment at customer sites. You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, perform preventive maintenance, and train operators on safe, efficient machine use.

The role requires a technical degree, a valid driving license with own car, and the ability to travel.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in electrical, mechanical, or mechatronics engineering.
Must have a valid driving license and own car.
Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage service tasks.
Willingness to travel to customer sites.
Hands-on experience with production or industrial printing equipment; large-format printers is a plus.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and test production and industrial printing systems at customer sites.
Provide hardware/software support and troubleshooting for issues.
Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs to maximize uptime.
Conduct operator training on machine operation and safety practices.
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve complex technical challenges.
Maintain accurate service reports, documentation, and customer records.
Respond promptly to service calls and inquiries.
Support system upgrades and workflow integrations.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
