Job summary

Linergy Power Sdn Bhd is seeking an Industrial Park Planning Engineer to support the planning and development of our industrial facilities and manufacturing site in Malaysia. You will lead layout and zoning studies, coordinate with design consultants, prepare layouts in AutoCAD, and ensure cost-effective site development while meeting regulatory and safety requirements.

• Proficient in AutoCAD and able to independently prepare and review planning layouts.

Responsibilities

• Plan industrial park layout, zoning, road networks, and utilities.
• Coordinate with design consultants for drawings, surveys, submissions, and approvals.
• Plan factory specifications and supporting facilities based on production needs.
• Monitor construction phase to ensure planning requirements and cost control.
• Maintain planning drawings and documentation, coordinating with Engineering, Project, and Business Development.

We are looking for an Industrial Park Planning Engineer to support the planning and development of our industrial facilities and manufacturing site.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall industrial park planning, including functional zoning, building layout, road networks, and utility pipeline planning based on land development requirements.
• Coordinate with design consultants to review drawings and support site surveys, feasibility studies, planning submissions, and approval processes with relevant authorities.
• Plan factory specifications and supporting facilities based on production requirements, including utilities, fire protection systems, hazardous waste facilities, and other supporting infrastructure.
• Follow up during the construction stage to ensure planning requirements are properly implemented, optimize site layout, control construction costs, and support phased development planning.
• Maintain planning drawings, approval records, and related documentation, while coordinating requirements with internal teams such as Engineering, Project, and Business Development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning, or other relevant technical disciplines.
• At least 3 years of experience in industrial park, factory, or manufacturing facility planning.
• Familiar with industrial land requirements, planning regulations, and authority submission / approval processes.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and able to independently prepare and review planning layouts.
• Strong attention to detail with good cost awareness and the ability to identify cost‑saving opportunities from the planning stage.
• Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to solve problems effectively across different stakeholders.
• Strong execution, time management, and ownership to ensure tasks are completed on schedule and with good quality.
