Job summary

Linergy Power in Serendah, Selangor is seeking an Industrial Park Planning Engineer to support planning and development of our industrial facilities and manufacturing site. You will oversee layout, zoning, roads, and utilities while coordinating with design consultants and authorities to advance projects.

The role requires a degree in a technical field and at least 3 years in related planning, with strong AutoCAD proficiency and cost-conscious thinking to optimize site development and execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline.
• 3+ years in industrial park, factory, or manufacturing facility planning.
• Familiar with land use, planning regulations, and submission/approval processes.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and able to draft/review layouts.
• Strong cost awareness and ability to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Plan overall industrial park layout, zoning, roads, and utilities.
• Coordinate with design consultants for drawings, surveys, and approvals.
• Plan factory facilities and utilities, including fire protection and hazardous waste facilities.
• Monitor construction phase to ensure planning requirements are followed and costs controlled.
• Maintain planning drawings and documentation; coordinate with Engineering, Project, and Business Development teams.

We are looking for an Industrial Park Planning Engineer to support the planning and development of our industrial facilities and manufacturing site.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall industrial park planning, including functional zoning, building layout, road networks, and utility pipeline planning based on land development requirements.
• Coordinate with design consultants to review drawings and support site surveys, feasibility studies, planning submissions, and approval processes with relevant authorities.
• Plan factory specifications and supporting facilities based on production requirements, including utilities, fire protection systems, hazardous waste facilities, and other supporting infrastructure.
• Follow up during the construction stage to ensure planning requirements are properly implemented, optimize site layout, control construction costs, and support phased development planning.
• Maintain planning drawings, approval records, and related documentation, while coordinating requirements with internal teams such as Engineering, Project, and Business Development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning, or other relevant technical disciplines.
• At least 3 years of experience in industrial park, factory, or manufacturing facility planning.
• Familiar with industrial land requirements, planning regulations, and authority submission / approval processes.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and able to independently prepare and review planning layouts.
• Strong attention to detail with good cost awareness and the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities from the planning stage.
• Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to solve problems effectively across different stakeholders.
• Strong execution, time management, and ownership to ensure tasks are completed on schedule and with good quality.
