ams OSRAM, a global leader in innovative light and sensor solutions, seeks an Industrial Engineer in Penang, Malaysia, to optimize time standards, drive productivity, and analyze performance within its manufacturing operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve line capacity, reduce cycle times and enhance capital utilization.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least 5 years’ experience in industrial engineering or semiconductor

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent (Industrial/Mechanical/Manufacturing preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial engineering or semiconductor manufacturing operations.

Responsabilidades

• Establish and evaluate IE time standards periodically through time and motion studies to ensure data reliability, transparency and timely updates.
• Analyze actual operational performance, bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Propose and drive productivity plans to improve machine throughput, line capacity, capital utilization, labor efficiency, cycle time and product cost.
• Perform work content studies and develop new modeling to define machine or labor requirements.
• Support R&D projects on IE data preparation, gap analysis and capacity improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve company KPI targets.

• Analyze actual operational performance, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
• Propose and drive productivity plan to improve machine throughput, line capacity, capital utilization, labor efficiency, cycle time and product cost.
• Perform work content study and setup new modeling to define machine or labor requirement.
• Support R&D projects on IE data preparation, gap analysis and capacity improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to achieve company KPI targets.
• Bachelor ‘s Degree of Engineering or equivalent, preferably in Industrial / Mechanical / Manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial engineering or semiconductor manufacturing operation field.
