Job summary

ams OSRAM Group in Penang seeks an experienced Industrial Engineer to establish and maintain time standards for manufacturing processes. You will analyze performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive productivity improvements across lines and projects.

With a minimum of five years in industrial engineering or semiconductor manufacturing, you will collaborate with R&D and cross-functional teams to meet KPI targets and optimize capacity and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent; preferred in Industrial/Mechanical/Manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial engineering or semiconductor manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Establish and evaluate IE time standards periodically via time/motion studies.
• Analyze actual operational performance, bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Propose and drive productivity plans to improve throughput, capacity, labor efficiency and cycle time.
• Perform work content study and set up modeling for machine or labor requirements.
• Support R&D projects on IE data preparation, gap analysis and capacity improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve KPI targets.
