Job summary

Jabil Circuit Sdn Bhd is seeking a hands-on Industrial Engineer / Process Engineer to join our Penang team. You will drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations, optimize workflows, and monitor daily quality and efficiency in production areas.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least 1 year of related experience, with strong skills in work measurement, process mapping, workstation design, and SAP/MES.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience.
• Experience with work measurement, process mapping, and workstation design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Visio, Project, AutoCAD, and SAP/MES.
• Good communication and proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and improve daily quality and efficiency in assigned production areas.
• Design and procure production tooling, processing equipment, and workstations.
• Coordinate facility layout and workstation relocation activities.
• Prepare time estimates for projects and evaluate time factors.
• Minimise changeover time and machine-generated scrap through data monitoring and corrective actions.
• Analyse workforce utilisation, facility layout, and operational data to optimise efficiency.
• Ensure machine maintenance is performed on schedule.
• Adhere to all safety, health, and company security policies.

Industrial Engineer / Process Engineer (Based in Penang)

We are looking for a hands-on and analytical Industrial Engineer to join our team at Jabil Circuit, Penang. In this role, you will be at the forefront of improving production efficiency, optimising workflows, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across our manufacturing operations.

What You'll Do

• Monitor and continuously improve daily quality and efficiency performance for assigned production areas.
• Design and procure production tooling, processing equipment, and workstations.
• Coordinate facility layout and workstation relocation activities.

What We're Looking For

• Good communication skills with a proactive and results-driven attitude.
• Willing to be based in Penang (Bayan Lepas or Batu Kawan).
