Job summary

SanDisk is seeking a full-time on-site Industrial Engineer in Malaysia (Penang/Batu Kawan). The role focuses on capacity planning, productivity improvements, and Lean initiatives within a manufacturing environment.

You will collaborate with Production, QA and Automation to optimize processes and meet plant KPIs. Eligible candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial/Mechanical), demonstrate strong communication skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial/Mechanical) or closely related field.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead capacity planning and productivity improvement initiatives.
• Manage IE data and related systems projects.
• Conduct time study and establish time standards for Lean operations.
• Coordinate tool relocation and layout activities to maximize efficiency.
• Collaborate with Production, QA, Process and Automation to meet KPI targets.
