Job summary

Lam Research International Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking an Industrial Engineer to drive capacity planning, line balancing, and productivity improvements within the Global Operations Group. You will work with cross-functional teams to analyze data and implement Lean-based enhancements across manufacturing lines.

The role emphasizes collaboration with internal and external groups, time study data collection, and continuous improvement initiatives to meet KPIs and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering/Manufacturing Engineering/Mathmatics/Engineering; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience.
• Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and System skills will be an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and planning skills.
• Strong drive for business improvements.
• Proven track record of ability to perform under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Capacity Planning
• Lead capacity modeling and long/medium term resource planning based on business outlook
• Perform line balancing and optimization to ensure line efficiency
• Gaps analysis between actual vs theoretical and gap closure
• Productivity Improvement
• Drive on labor hour and cycle time improvement project
• Coordinate in tool relocation & re-layout activities
• Collaborate with CFT team to achieve operations KPI's
• Perform time study data collection and analysis, continuous improvement based on Lean concept
