Job summary

Sandisk in Penang is seeking an Industrial Engineer to drive Capex planning, productivity improvements and capacity analysis for the factory. You will develop efficient production layouts and support Lean initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, strong communication, and the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision. Proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD, and Lean/Six Sigma knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan Capex based on loading forecast and monitor capital utilization.
• Lead productivity and cost-saving projects to meet goals.
• Perform capacity planning to maximize plant utilization.
• Maintain IE databases and oversee IE-related systems.
• Conduct time studies and set time standards using Lean principles.
• Coordinate tool relocation and layout improvements.
• Collaborate with Production, QA, Process, and Automation to hit KPIs.
