Job summary

Jabil is seeking an Industrial Engineer III to plan, design, implement and manage integrated production and service delivery systems at our Bayan Lepas/Batu Kawan site. You will focus on profitability, quality, and continuous improvement across product lifecycles.

You will lead waste-elimination projects, verify time standards, map processes, and drive SAP/MES configurations while mentoring IE engineers within a global manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in any related engineering field.
• Broad understanding and application of IE tools such as work measurement, simulation, process mapping, and facilities/workstation design.
• Understanding of Jabil's global strategies and site direction.
• Strong financial and analytical ability.
• Proven track record of change management and cost reduction initiatives.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Visio, Project and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement projects to eliminate waste through standard IE processes.
• Apply Complex Process Simulation, Operations Research and Cost Analysis.
• Verify time standards within the IE team.
• Update and report IE metrics for assigned customer or area.
• Drive process mapping activities within the assigned area.
• Drive SAP and MES configurations to standardize processes.
• Prepare quotes for proposed projects within the area.
• Support New Product Introduction process related activities.
• Coach and train engineers within the IE team.
• Ensure standardization of Jabil processes across the site.
